The castle and the church of Valderrobres are two of the most representative buildings of the gothic heritage in Teruel area. In addition to the monuments themselves, visitors can found extremely interesting exhibitions inside. For all those groups of schoolchildren who visit the castle, the Valderrobres heritage foundation, offers a series of activities adapted to each age group and designed to combine leisure with learning experiences to transform the visit in an unforgettable experience.

FROM 4 TO 6 YEARS VERSION

FROM 7 TO 12 YEARS VERSION

A tour through the town of Valderrobres, Its castle and Its church, where the children will be accompanied by an instructor and a costumed character. This two are going to explain the history of the place and will propose games to play with the children. This activity can be adapted for different ages.

STARTING AT 11 YEARS OLD

A game where the visiting class will be split in four teams who compite to find hidden cards through the castle. After the searching and with a little help from their findings, the children will rebuilt the history and basic elements of the castle, always helped by the instructors.

This activity is a guided visit with language and content adapted for children.

WE HAVE TWO MODALITIES:

1. GUIDED VISIT TO THE CASTLE AND THE CHURCH:

Tour around the Castle rooms, the church, and explaining the gothic doorway and Its construction stages.

Ticket price: 3 € per student (Primary school), 4 € (Secondary School)

Guided visit price: 30€/ group

Running time: 1 hora aprox.

2. COMPLETE GUIDED VISIT TO VALDERROBRES

Tour through Valderrobres, visiting and explaining the key places in town like the stone bridge, the town hall, and finally a detailed visit to the castle and the church.

Ticket price: 3 € per student (elementary and primary school), 4 € per student (secondary School).

Guided visit price: 60€/ group

Running time: 2h. aprox.

We offer guided visits for the other towns in the Matarraña area.
